Crystallographic Study on the Structure of 5,6,7,8-Tetrahydro-1,4-di (2 ‘-pyridyl) Phthalazine

The solid-state structure of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-1,4-di(2’-pyridyl)phthalazine (6-dppn) was characterized by X-ray diffraction and a crystallographic study was then conducted. It was found that 6-dppn exists in the trans/trans conformation.
