POCl3 was then removed under reduced pressure and the residue was dissolved in DCM and cold water. Solid NaHCO3 was carefully added till pH=11 was reached, the aq. layer was separated and further extracted with DCM. The combined organic layers were washed with brine, dried (Na2SO4) and concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound as a pale yellow solid (4.13 g, 73%); LRMS ESI+ (M+H)+ 279.
